Memory verse:

“And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden,

Come; for all things are now ready.”

“So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master

of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.”

“And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.”

“And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”

  • Lk. 14:17,21-23.

The growth of the church of Christ is what is of greatest importance to God on the earth. It is of such importance that God personally committed Himself to it Mat. 16:18. Therefore, as God’s children it must be of great importance to us as well. We must understand that the growth of the church happens as more individuals renounce the life of sin and make a commitment of their lives to Christ and the church Acts 2:47. Scriptures instruct that there will never be conversion of the unsaved except they have the privilege to hear the gospel, and they will never have the privilege except some individuals volunteer or commit themselves to take the gospel to them Rms. 10:13-15. But every believer is sent to be a gospel carrier to the unsaved Jn. 15:16; Mk. 16:15-16. The more of believers that respond to this call, the more the church will experience the growth ordained for her.

Strategies for effectiveness in being on the go for Christ.

  1. Commitment to strong marketing of the gospel.

Remember, God’s work is a business Lk. 2:49. The sales of any product will stop where the marketing stops. Our product is the gospel and the testimonies from it, our clients are the unsaved Mat. 28:19-20. To be an effective and fruitful believer, one need to understand the concept of marketing, and engage same in reaching out with the gospel to the unsaved.

  • Engage the Holy Spirit, the Lord of the harvest.

The Holy Spirit is the Lord of the harvest, who is responsible for convicting the unsaved to make them become converted to Christ Mat. 9:38. Without Him at work, every effort to get the unsaved will fail. We engage the Holy Spirit on the altar of prayer Acts 4:29-33.

Every believer that will remain committed to being on the go for souls for Christ need to possess a genuine heart for God Rms. 8:35-38. We can place a demand for God to give us such a heart Psa. 51:10; Ezk. 36:26.
