Memory verse:
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
- Jn. 15:16.
Redemption brought us into a kingdom with great blessings with abundant life, but our access is by aligning with the instruction of the kingdom 2Pet. 1:2; Deu. 28:1-2. The fundamental instruction of God’s kingdom to every believer is popularly referred to as the ‘great commission’, which is all about going into the world with the gospel of Christ to save the lost Mat. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:15-16. Therefore, the continuous drive for believers to reach out to the unsaved, get them saved, and gather them into the church is not to have a big congregation by a pastor, but obedience to God’s instruction Jn. 15:16. This is what positions the believer for the blessings of God Jn. 4:35-36.
Effective ways of being on the go for Christ.
- Understand that preaching the gospel is akin to being a sales representative.
The sale of any product is largely dependent on the strength of the marketing employed. In essence, how strong we market or publish the gospel of Christ will determine the response of the unsaved into the kingdom Mk. 5:18-21; Jn. 4:29,39.
- Engaging the Holy Spirit, the Lord of the harvest on the prayer altar is vital for supernatural church growth.
Supernatural growth of the church is essentially the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Lord of the harvest Mat. 9:38; Lk. 10:2. And we must engage the prayer altar to invoke the ministry of the Holy Spirit Lk. 11:13. Therefore, for supernatural church growth, we must commit to the prayer altar Acts 4:29-33.
- It takes a genuine heart for God to keep going after souls.
The love of God is what empowers the believer for continuous commitment to pursuit after the salvation of the unsaved Rms. 8:35-39; Acts 26:22. Therefore, to have a sustained commitment to the task of soul winning, the believer must have a heart that is burning with the love of God.
Every believer that wants to make the most of his life must understand that this is harvest season Jer. 5:14. And harvest season is time of great rewards, but places great work on the believer Pro. 10:5.
