Memory verse:
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
- Deu. 30:19.
We all have a destiny of greatness and glory as citizens of God’s kingdom Mat. 5:13-14; Rms. 8:29-30. But what it takes to make the glorious destiny a reality is in the power of each person Jos. 1:8. In essence, individuals have the responsibility for what becomes of his life at the end of the day. This is because there are forces that are essential for destiny to open up and answer. Whether consciously or otherwise, these forces must be engaged by individuals that will take delivery of the glory destined for him in life Deu. 30:19. This is why we say, we have no one to blame for what become of us in life but ourselves.
The basic responsibilities for the kingdom life.
- The responsibility to bring forth fruits as individuals.
The demand of bringing forth fruits as kingdom citizens is not an option Jn. 15:1-2. We are not only instructed to bring forth fruits, but our fruits must abide Jn. 15:16. The more fruitful we are, the more we are empowered to take delivery of our glorious destiny Jn. 15:8; 1Sam. 2:30. Fruit bearing essentially is about getting the unsaved to renounce the life of sin, receive Christ as Lord and Savior Mat. 28:19-20. We understand from scriptures that every child of God has this ministry of reconciliation 2Cor. 5:17-20. The truth is that no one can do this task on the behalf of another, which shows that each of us is responsible for determining our outcome in life.
