Memory verse:

 those things which were told her from the Lord.”

We understand from scriptures that God works by first revealing His plan to His children, which is what we refer to as prophecy Isa. 42:8-9; 43:18-19. Afterward God goes to work to bring what He has revealed to pass Isa. 55:10-11. Remember, whatever God reveals is what is guaranteed to come to pass, because God does not speak for the fun of it nor joke with what He says Num. 23:19. But the faith of the believer is key to take delivery of God’s revealed plan in his life Lk. 1:45. In essence, when God makes known His plan and we choose to believe it, we have secured fulfillment in our lives.

The power of faith in making what God says come to pass.

1. Faith is the test to pass to see God’s plan and purpose come to pass.

God conduct test for man before He can do anything for him Gen. 22:1-5,16-18. Faith is the vital test to pass and the last one before any prophecy will come through in one’s life Heb. 11:9-11.

• Faith is the last step to take to see prophecy come to pass.

Every step man takes either invokes God or the devil to work in his life. When the step is taken in line with what God says, it is faith in God; it will move God to deliver what He has promised Jn. 14:21-23. For instance, the Israelite were at the brink of stepping into the Promised Land, and God instructed Moses to send twelve (12) spies into the land, it was the faith of two (2) that made them possess the land Num. 13:26-33; 14:1-10,21-24.

• Faith is the act of obedience that moves God to perform His promise.

We have known from scriptures that whatever God says can only be delivered through His hand, and not the strength of man 1Kgs. 8:15. Our obedience to the instruction that comes with God’s promise is what God sees as our faith, which moves Him to perform what He promised Deu. 28:1-2; Heb. 11:8-9,16.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, baptize me with the Spirit of faith thereby empower me to take full and speedy delivery of the prophecy of the year 2Cor. 4:13.

Action.

Make the choice for obedience to every instruction of God, and be committed to doing it from now!
