Memory verse:   

“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of

 those things which were told her from the Lord.”

• Lk. 1:45.

The scriptures make us to understand that we serve the God who does not joke with words. Every word that proceeds from Him are intentional, and are ordained to deliver the mission for which they were spoken Isa. 55:10-11; 14:24. In essence, there are no idle words with our God, whatever He says is what will happen Mat. 24:35. The challenge with us is that what God says is often beyond what man’s understanding can relate with, which makes it hard for many to believe. But the delivery of what God says in reality is dependent on the faith of man Lk. 1:45. Only those who will choose to believe in what God says that will see it come to pass in their lives Mk. 9:23.

The power of faith in making what God says to come to pass.

1. Faith made a three-million-member strong church to be birthed in one day.

God said He was bringing His people out of Egypt, where they have been in captivity for over four hundred years Exo. 3:7-10; 12:41-42. Moses chose to believe it, and in one day God delivered His promise and Moses led them out of Egypt with scriptures referring to them as the church in the wilderness Acts 7:38.

• Faith made a 3,000-member strong church to be birthed in one day.

The disciples chose to believe in the words of Jesus to tarry in Jerusalem for the outpouring of power Lk. 24:49. As they did this, it resulted in the birthing of 3,000 individuals into the kingdom giving rise to the emergence of the New Testament church in one day Acts 2:1-6,41.

• Faith will deliver every word of God concerning us for the year 2023.

Everything written in the scriptures is to serve as example for us believers in these later days 1Cor. 10:11; Rms. 15:4. In essence, the two examples above is to show to us that whatever God says for the year that we choose to believe shall be delivered without fail in our lives as a church and individuals.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, baptize me with the Spirit of faith thereby empower me to take full and speedy delivery of the prophecy of the year 2Cor. 4:13.

Action.

Identify what God has spoken concerning the year, and choose to believe with all your heart.
