Memory verse:

The scriptures make us to understand that we belong to a kingdom that operates by commandment, the laws of God Deu. 28:1-2. God’s commandments are not intended for His good, but essentially for the believer’s life of profit Heb. 4:2; 2Tim. 3:16-17. Our obedience to God’s commandment is the believer’s access to the profitable life promised. It is the believer’s obedience that commits God, which results in the supernatural life of profits Deu. 28:1-13.
Basic commandment of God as contained in scriptures.
- The fellowship commandment.
Fellowship talks about the coming together of the saints in a location to worship God 1Jn 1:3-6. In essence, fellowship is not an option, it is a commandment to be obeyed Heb. 10:25. Just like every other commandment of God, the fellowship commandment has amazing blessings that guarantees the life of profits. The blessings that answer to commitment to fellowship include the following.
- Fellowship, the church of Christ gathered in a locality is the New Testament city of refuge. It forbids assault on any member 21:13; Obd. 17: Heb. 12:22-24.
- Fellowship guarantees the preservation of the spiritual life of the believer 3:13; Psa. 84:7.
- Fellowship, the house of God, is a center of spiritual illumination 73:17; Jer. 3:15-16; Eph. 4:11.
- Fellowship is vital proof of the believer’s love for God, because one cannot love God and not love His house 84:1-7; 122:1-6; 1Sam. 13:14.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, endue me by your Spirit for unwavering obedience to every instruction from you thereby empower me for unending profit in life Ezk. 37:27.
Action.
Evaluate your love for God, by your passion and commitment to fellowship.
