Memory verse:
- “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. 16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” – Heb. 13:15-16.
Living to please God is central and the core of all that walking with God stands for and is all about Rev. 4:11; 2Chr. 16:9. Jesus Christ exemplified this with His earthly life Jn. 8:29; Heb. 12:2. What is the secret to this order of life? Scripture shows us that thanksgiving is one thing that pleases God very well Heb. 13:15-16; Psa. 69:30-31; 50:23. This means that when thanksgiving becomes a lifestyle, a believer’s life becomes pleasing or pleasant to God. When God is pleased with an individual, in return God makes his life pleasant Pro. 16:7.
What Thanksgiving Does that Makes Life Pleasant.
- Thanksgiving Enforces Fulfilment of Prophetic Word.
God’s plan for every person particularly His children, is unveiled through prophetic scriptures and words of prophecy Isa. 29:11-12; 2Pet. 1:19-21. Each person simply needs to discover what is documented in scripture or spoken prophetically about their life, and take responsibility to make it happen Pro. 24:13-14. The covenant responsibility is to give thanks to enforce the fulfilment of prophetic word into reality 1Ths. 5:18; Heb. 10:36.
I want to encourage everyone to turn each item on their Shiloh 2025 expectations card into a thanksgiving issue and watch how Shiloh will turn out with explosive testimonies for them.
