Memory verse:
“And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?”
“It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:”
“But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.” – Mk. 4:32.
Redemption entitles every believer to become a giant against all odds Deu. 28:13; Mat. 5:13-14. The covenant platform for this is dedication to God and the course of His kingdom Mk. 4:30-32. Dedication to God involves being committed to God without any reservation, no matter the cost on one’s life Mk. 10:28. Everyone who has emerged a giant had this as his secret, and the scripture instructs us to follow such example Heb. 6:12.
Scriptural Example of Dedication-made Giant.
- The Example of Paul, the Apostle.
Paul the Apostle had unparalleled dedication to Christ. He expressed this in the following ways:
- Paul lived absolutely for Christ, he said “for me to live is Christ and die is gain” 1:21; 1Cor. 9:16.
- Paul was dead to all things and alive to Christ alone; he said “I am crucified with Christ” 2:20; 1Cor. 15:31.
- Paul’s only desire is to know Christ crucified and glorified 3:10=14.
Paul the Apostle ended up a spiritual giant, wrote two-third of the New Testament Acts 19:14-15; Eph. 3:1-5; 2Pet. 3:15.
