“And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.” – Jer. 23:34-36.
Kingdom service is a platform for believers to fulfill their glorious destiny on the earth Job 36:11: Mal. 3:17-18. How we engage in it is vital to what our outcome will be Heb. 12:28. There are two basic ways to engage in kingdom service; either as a blessing or as a burden. Serving God as a blessing is when we see every opportunity as a privilege, this makes for blessing Exo. 23:25-26. When opportunities of service are seen as a load saddled on us, service has become a burden and it is a risk Jer. 23:34-36.
Covenant Understanding that Delivers from Serving as a Burden.
- Refuse to Serve the Enemy Out of Carelessness.
One is either gathering with Christ, which is serving God. Else, one may be scattering or serving the enemy Mat. 12:30; Ezk. 34:25.
- Beware of taking Steps against the Church of Christ.
To make unsavory comments against the work, gospel ministers, or God’s word, means one has taken a stance against the church of Christ; it’s a risk Mat. 21:42-44.
- Crave for Grace to Seek First God’s Kingdom.
Seeking first God’s kingdom is a mystery that holds treasure for believers who finds it Pro. 24:13-14; Mat. 6:33. We need grace to make this our lifestyle 1Cor. 15:10.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, endow me with the grace to keep serving you willing, excitedly, seeing it as a privilege till my time on earth is over 1Cor. 15:10.
Action.
Get on the field and secure at least one soul for Christ, and take to church morrow.
Priestly Blessings.
Receive the grace to make the pursuit of God’s kingdom first in our life from now!
I decree the outburst of God’s blessing and glory on your life from today!
