Memory verse:

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”    – Psa. 35:27.

We serve a God who is too mindful of His children; He cares for the minutest details of our lives (Psa. 115:12-13). His plan for every one of His children is a life of prosperity, which means total well-being and satisfaction with every good thing in life (3Jn. 2; 103:5). We must not forget that we serve a covenant keeping God, which means access to every of His provisions is by meeting the demand (Jer. 33:20-21). Everyone who commits to serving God becomes entitled to a prosperous life (Job 36:11). Serving God is all about a commitment to labor for the growth of the church of Christ and advancement of God’s kingdom (Mat. 16:18; 1Cor. 3:9). When this becomes a believer’s life, he is not permitted to lack any good thing in life (Lk. 22:35).

Scriptural Example of Giants Made Through Serving God.

  1. Simon Peter.

Simon Peter was described as unlearned and ignorant; a fisherman turned disciple of Christ (Acts 4:13). But he was also described as a most zealous servant of Christ; this made him the only disciple who followed Christ during His trials for crucifixion (Mat. 26:57-58). He also demonstrated his love and commitment to serving God when he offered his boat for Jesus’ use after an all-night fishing adventure without a catch (Lk. 5:3-5). The reward of his service was that he ended up a renowned apostle (Mat. 4:19; 19:27-29).
