Memory verse:
“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” – Psa. 35:27.
Our God is the covenant keeping God, who never breaks His covenant but shows respect at all times (Psa. 89:34; 72:20). One of His covenants and a key one is the covenant of prosperity (Deu. 8:18). Prosperity means well-being, and the covenant demand is serving God and the interests of His kingdom (Psa. 35:27). Service is a choice to commit to the pursuit of the advancement of God’s kingdom (Mat. 6:33). This is done essentially in prayers and soul winning endeavors (Acts 6:4,7). Everyone who commits to this as a lifestyle is guaranteed prosperity, as God by covenant is committed to the well-being of such individuals.
Scriptural Example of Giants Made Through Serving God.
- Daniel.
Daniel was a high-profile servant of God. How do I mean? He was senior personality in the administration of the strongest nation of his days, yet he was strongly committed to serving God (Dan. 6:20-23). Daniel was a deep lover of God and remained unrepentant in his love for God; he would rather die than deny God (Dan. 6:5-23; SOS 8:6-7). Love for God will always translate into commitment to serving God (Mat. 6:24). The end result of this lifestyle of Daniel, he was a prosperous man in the kingdom where he was a foreigner (Dan. 6:28).
