Memory verse:
“Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.” – Mat. 17:27.
We serve the faithful God and a covenant keeper; this understanding empowers a person’s trust and delightsome obedience (Deu. 7:9). Scripture states clearly that soul winning is the most profitable venture on the earth, with profits money cannot buy (Mat. 16:26). The question then is, why do we have some believers who are committed soul winners, yet their lives reflect struggles and hardship? The reason for this is ignorance of the blessedness of soul winning, making them lack right expectation for their kingdom labor, and lack of expectation robs them of their due blessings (Hos. 4:6; Pro. 23:18).
The Benefits of Soul Winning a Believer Should Expect.
- Supernatural Supplies.
Jesus instructed His disciples not to carry their purse, go with any extra cloth, shoe etc. when He sent them on soul winning task (Lk. 10:1-7). At their return, they testified of supernatural provision of all needs (Lk. 22:35).
- Divine Favor.
A commitment to pursue the unsaved for Christ makes a believer a candidate of God’s favor (Psa. 102:13-15). Divine favor is the cure to hardship and struggles (Exo 3:21).
- Command of Signs and Wonders.
Soul winning is a trigger for the release of power; also, it secures manifestation of divine presence (Acts 1:8; Mat. 28:19-20). These empower believers for command of signs and wonders (Mk. 16:15-17,20).
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, I receive the grace to engage in soul winning with greater fervency that will deliver better result in the last two weeks of the ongoing midst of the year 2026 (Acts 1:8).
Action.
Appraise your performance thus far in the midst of the year’s soul winning engagement.
