Memory verse:
“Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life” – Mk. 10:28-30.
Every believer is ordained to be committed to kingdom stewardship, which is the platform for access to God’s blessings and provisions of redemption Eph. 2:10; Exo. 23:25-26. Scripture shows us that kingdom stewardship is in three categories; spiritual, financial, and physical stewardship 2Chr. 15:12. While every kind of service is highly profitable, spiritual stewardship profits the most Gal. 6:7-8; 1Tim. 4:8. This understanding will give a believer an edge over others Psa. 102:13-15.
Ways of Engaging in Spiritual Stewardship.
- Inviting People to Church to Meet with Christ.
Inviting people to church services requires that one goes to the highways, hedges, lanes, corners etc. where the unchurched are found Joel 3:13-14. Then, we compel them into the church to meet with Christ for their salvation, deliverance, and breakthrough Lk. 14:16-23. While soul winning requires some level of ability to preach, this does not. Everyone can invite people to church including new converts Jn. 4:29,39; Mk. 16:15.
Inviting people to church qualifies for same level of reward as soul winning because it ultimately gets people reconciled to God. Soul winning entitles every engaged believer to honor from God Pro. 14:28; 1Sam. 2:30.
Jesus is Lord!
