Memory verse:

“Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”       – Mat. 22:36-40.

One basic law of God that governs life on the earth is the law of seed time and harvest Gen. 8:22. In simple analysis, it helps us understand that the outcome of each person in life is a function of his input. This means that whatever a man does has an effect and impact primarily on his life, not on whom the action is directed. Therefore, our service to God and His kingdom is fundamentally of benefit to ourselves, not God, the church, or pastor Lk. 22:25-27.

The Benefits of Serving God that Proves Believers are the Beneficiary.

  1. Serving God Guarantees Divine Protection.

We live in a world full of cruelty and wickedness, which is increasing in scope and intensity as we approach the end of time 1Jn. 5:19. Scripture promises that one can be exempted from all evil; serving God is the guarantee for our protection against the wickedness all around Lk 10:17-19; Dan. 6:20-23.

  1. Serving God Guarantees Supernatural Change of Level.

God’s design for His children is continuous change of level until we emerge at the top Pro. 4:18; Mat. 5:13-14. Believers are not designed to struggle to experience this; they simply need to follow God’s way. Serving God is the covenant way to supernatural and continuous change of level for believers Lk. 19:13,17-18.
