Memory verse:
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” – 1Jn. 5:14-15.
Prayer is an expression of God’s love to His children, with the assurance that He is committed to answering every time they call in prayer Jer. 33:3; Mat. 7:7-8. With prayer, a believer has assurance of their needs simply by engaging the prayer altar with faith Mat. 21:22. This is why a believer is not permitted to struggle or suffer in life, no matter how hard the situation may be. To enjoy the blessedness of prayer, we need a good understanding of how to make the prayer altar command answers always.
Demands for Guaranteed Answers to Believers’ Prayer.
- Engage Praying in the Spirit.
Believers fail to deliver results at the prayer altar because often we don’t know how we should pray Rms. 8:26. So, many expend their efforts at the altar of prayer without any tangible results to show for it. The Holy Spirit is our helper, particularly in prayers, enabling us to prevail all the time. Praying in the Spirit essentially refers to praying in other tongues; this gets a believer on God’s private line with guarantee of express answer 1Cor. 14:2,14-15; Eph. 6:18. When we pray in the Spirit, we are praying according to God’s will, which commits God to answer Rms. 8:26-27; 1Jn. 5:14-15.
