Memory verse:
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Mat. 6:33.
Serving God is identified in scripture as the most profitable venture anyone can be involved on the earth Exo. 23:25-26; Job 36:11. We only need the understanding of how to make it deliver maximally, for our engagement not to become a futile exercise Ecc. 10:15. First, we must understand that serving God is big-time business, not mere religious activity or hubby Lk. 2:49; Rms. 12:11-12. Second, there are different ways of kingdom service, and spiritual stewardship delivers the best profit Mat. 6:33. When engagement in kingdom service aligns with above two understanding, it will turn giants out of any ordinary individual Psa. 89:20-24; 2Sam. 18:3.
Ways of Engaging in Spiritual Stewardship.
- We Serve God by Winning Souls.
Soul winning is the core of spiritual stewardship; the ultimate of every true service is advancement of God’s kingdom, soul winning is all about this Lk. 14:21.23. Soul winning is a spiritual gold-mine Mat. 13:44-45; 16:26. Soul winning is what every believer can do, because:
- Every believer is ordained a soul winner; it means, it is natural for every child of God to get unsaved souls to come to Christ 5:17-20; Jn. 15:16.
- Believers are empowered by the Holy Spirit to be effective witness of Christ on the earth Acts 1:8.
- God’s rewards answer for results obtained, not just for efforts made 19:17-19; Dan. 12:3.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, this last week of Operation Living Sacrifice, empower me by your Spirit to deliver my minimum two established souls, thereby take full delivery of the rewards of the season Acts 1:8.
Action.
Strategize on how to deliver your two minimum established souls this week.
