“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.” – Deu. 28:1-2.
At the root of a glorious life on the earth is connection to God’s blessing Pro. 10:22. This is personal responsibility on everyone who desire the blessing, and it is obedience to God Deu. 28:1-2. Our obedience is not to God’s advantage, neither does our disobedience negatively impact on Him. Hence, it is wisdom to embrace the lifestyle of obedience in order to make the most of our life.
Scriptural Understanding that Empowers for Obedience.
- Obedience is Not an Option.
Believers cannot gain access to God’s blessing except by obedience to God’s instruction Gen. 12:1-4; 14:14-20. This means no one knows what is in obedience until he has obeyed.
- Obedience Opens New Chapter.
Obedience is so powerful that it will cause new chapter to open Isa. 1:19. Abraham obeyed the instruction of God, and a new chapter opened to him that turned him into a trans-generational blessing Gen. 12:1-4; 24:1.
- The Example of Israelite and Jericho Walls.
The walls of Jericho were so massive that it had houses build on it, with people inhabiting them. Obedience brought these massive walls down, to give land sliding victory to Israelite Jos. 6:1-20.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, I receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit for strict and delightsome obedience to your instruction from now Ezk. 36:27.
Action.
Repent of every act of disobedience, and make the decision for obedience.
Priestly Blessings.
I cast out the spirit of disobedience from your life right now!
I decree a fresh in-filling with the Spirit of obedience in your life now!
