Testimonies are the acts of God, which are validations of the what God can do Lk. 1:35-37. Scriptures make us to understand that whatever God has done, he will do again for anyone who will choose to believe Mal. 3:6. Therefore, testimonies are covenant tools and effective sickles of harvest for believers Jn. 4:48. Particularly, testimonies are great sickles of harvest of souls into the kingdom Acts 8:5-8.
Exploring the Power of Testimony.
- Testimonies stirs imagination that results into delivery of miracles.
Whatever we cannot imagine, God cannot make happen Gen. 13:14-15; 2Cor. 10:3-4. Testimonies helps believers to have imagination of the possibility of his desire as he sees what God has done in another’s life, this moves God to act in his situation.
- Testimonies attracts men to God.
Testimonies are manifestations of the supernatural; it magnetizes men because the supernatural is man’s origin Mk. 16:20. Multitudes kept following Christ because of the miracles which He did, to show the power of testimonies Jn. 2:33; 6:2.
- The example of the testimony of Paul.
Paul in his missionary journey stepped into Asia, and through the testimonies from his life, men of occult surrendered to Christ across the whole of Aisa Acts 19:8-12,13-20. This is a testament to the power of testimony.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, by the light of the word I have received, I shall walk in power from today, thereby making to rule in life from now Psa. 66:7.
Action.
Place a demand for a repeat of any testimony of Jesus you desire.
