Memory verse:
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”
“For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Mat. 7:7-8.
We serve a praying answering God, who is committed to answer the prayer of His children Jer. 33:3. Every prayer of a believer is guaranteed to command answer from the Lord Mat. 7:7-8. Scriptures makes it emphatically clear that what the believer does not have is what He has not asked Jms. 4:2. This gives us an understanding of heaven’s guarantee to answer the believer every time he engages in prayer. The question is, why do we have many believers in today’s church with unanswered prayer?
The scriptural demands for guaranteed answer every time we pray.
- Get rid of sin.
Sin is a sure barrier to accessing answer in prayer Psa. 66:18-19; Isa. 59:1-2. Sin is behind the dis-connectivity of believers in prayer, the reason for futile effort on the prayer altar. The solution is to get rid of sin, in order to pray and get result.
- Forgiveness is the way out of sin.
The only way to get rid of sin is to confess it God, which means acknowledge to God that you committed it in order to be forgiven by God Psa. 55:10-11. When believers cover their sin, their prayers will fail to deliver answer Pro. 28:13.
- Genuinely ask for forgiveness.
Forgiveness must not be assumed but genuinely sought for, this is by ask asking for it 1Jn. 1:8-10. When we do, God does not only forgive, He writes off our sin as if they never happened Ezk. 18:20-22.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the grace to comply with the demands for answered prayer, thereby commanding result in prayers from now 1Cor. 15:10
Action.
Appraise your Christian Walk and seek for forgiveness for any sin.
Priestly Blessings.
You days of futile labor in the place of prayer is over forever!
From now, while you are praying, answer shall be released to you!
