Memory verse:
“And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.”
“But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.” Mat. 20:20-22.
By redemption the believer is designed to enjoy all things that make for life and godliness 2Pet. 1:3-4. This is why when a man becomes born again, he is expected to begin to experience a new life of glory 2Cor. 5:17. But too many that claim to be born again that are yet to reflect the life of glory. This is because, the turnaround is not what we “pray” to experience, but operate the covenant Deu. 28:1-2; Psa. 89:34.
Some basic covenant approaches to maximize the kingdom life.
- We don’t beg to be free from the oppression of the wicked; we serve our way into liberty.
When the believer commits to serving God and the interest of His kingdom, God becomes committed to his liberty from the works of the wicked Exo. 4:22-23; Lk. 10:1-2,17-19.
- We don’t cry to be free from generational curses; we serve our way into freedom.
Service beings the believer into the blessing of God Exo. 23:25-26. God’s blessing forbids curses, including generational, from afflicting the believer Num. 23:8,20.
- God is not looking for who to disgrace, but who to empower for triumphant living.
Serving God brings the believer into partnership with Christ Mk. 16:16-17,20. Such divine partnership turns the believer into a more than conqueror personality Rms. 8:31.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, empower me in the inner man for tireless commitment to kingdom advancement endeavor to the point of rewards Eph. 3:16.
Action.
Get into the field, and secure more souls for Christ.
