Memory verse:   

“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.”

Pro 23:18.

We understand from scriptures that faith is the believer’s access to all of the great promises and blessings of God’s kingdom Mk. 9:23; Mat. 9:29. The smallest faith is enough to make great things happen Mat. 17:20; 13:31-32. According to scriptures, faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things yet to be seen Heb. 11:1. These means things expected, and the substance makes the believer to hope for things yet to be a reality is what God has said. Therefore, faith can be simply said to be Word-based expectation Rms. 4:17-21. This is what we need as we get set for Shiloh 2023.

Understanding the power of expectation.

1. Expectation gives value to our intercession and supplication.

The prayer altar is the believer’s guaranteed platform to take delivery of every desire Mat. 7:7-8. But the believer’s engagement on the prayer altar will only deliver to the level of his expectation Pro. 23:18; Jms. 4:2.

2. Everything in life answer according to our expectation.

In the scripture Jesus said, ‘according to your faith be it unto you’ Mat. 9:29. With our defining of faith in the opening paragraph, the statement means our expectation will define what will ultimately be in our lives Mk. 2:1-12.

Therefore, as we get set for Shiloh 2023 each of us must have our expectations clearly defined. When these expectations are scriptural based, whatever anyone expects at Shiloh 2023 is guaranteed to return as testimony with him Pro. 3:27-28; Psa. 62:5.

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, help me by your Spirit to have well defined, word-based expectation for Shiloh 2023 and in my Christian walk from now Jn. 14:26.

Begin to itemize your desires for Shiloh 2023, and begin to search for scriptures to give the substance for your expectation.
